613 July #132 challenge

Here is my inspirational post for challenge #132 Create Your Own

This image is from Oddballartco, Santa Zebra

I chose Square card, Christmas and water colour from the options.

I used water colour pencils for the black stripes on the zebra and red for the santa hat.
I added a touch of Decoart Snow-tex to the hats fur and bobble.

Die cut image and layered on black then red.
Layering this on top of a border scrap from my stash.

I can see this image making many of my Christmas cards this year.

Kind regards
Theresa

KS Christmas in July

Are you getting those Christmas gifts made ready for the big day?
I have started mine
and Karleigh Sue has a new release of cute Christmas Elves to get you on your way

Here is what I did with them

That is only 4 of them - there is more to follow but I havent finished them yet ;-)

I coloured them with polychromo pencils on Neenah Classic Crest Card.

Papers and ribbon from my stash and my 1st attempt at a bottle cap..  Melted some embossing powder in it. Then used glossy accents to attach the die cut holly, with some seed beads as berries.
And a peel off greeting.

Please pop over to KS blog challenge and share your latest projects.

kind Regards
Theresa

TTPH July - FUNNY

I chose this cute image from  Bugaboo (U Rock) because it was out of my norm!
I have loved colouring it.

I coloured it with my Polychromo pencils (sorry, was so excited at the enjoyment of colouring I forgot to list the colours used!)

I scruffed up the edges of the cardstock and layered in a scruffed up blue piece.

Cut 9 flowers dies with my newly purchased Presscut Flower#2 and layered them up with a bead from my stash in the center.

Kind regards

Theresa

KS - Lady Luck inspirational post

I chose this lovely image (Karleigh Sue's Lady Luck) to make a good luck in your new House card for my neice.

I used my promarkers (before I fell out with them!)

skin - apricot, oatmeal, blush
Hair - tan, cinnamon, cocoa, henna

Clover - meadow green, apple, leaf green, bright green
Horseshoe - warm grey 1, 2, 3, 4
Star - yellow, canary, sunflower
Dress/shoes - tea green, soft green, grey green
Ladybird - lipstick red, berry red, red

I printed my own sentiment and cut it out with a die, layering on coordinating backing papers from my stash.

I also punch 3 circles and emboss with a large ball tool to look like candi.

My niece is all moved in now and hopefully finished decorating..

Please pop over to Karleigh Sue for the latest challenge and share your makes.

Kind regards

613 Avenue Create Sights/Sounds/Taste of summer

My new addiction is book folding!
So for this dt project I used my first ever book fold..

The challenge theme was Sights/Sounds/taste of summer
(I went a bit wrong and went with smell instead of taste!)
Choosing roses - smell, butterflies - sights, and bees for sound

I think she site beautifully on the front cover
- which is some glittered butterfly paper from my stash.

As I printer her on the wrong card stock my pro markers would lay properly so I used my polychromo pencils.

Pop over to 613 challenge blog and join in.
I cant wait to see your projects.

Kind regards
