Christening (Girl) Inspirational post

Another card from a beautiful Karleigh Sue image - Christening (Girl)

I felt this image needed a lace look so decided to do it on parchment.

Coloured the face and hands with polychromos.
Embossed light all over, with  some extra embossing on the details.

I stippled the cross
Perforated all around her then snipped out.
I perforated and embossed a grid using PCA fine diagonal grid,
then sniped out the crosses.
From another grid, Siesta  SPB016L    I embossed and perforated the flowers
and sprinkled them randomly all over.

I loved making this card

Kind Regards

I am new to the DT at 613 Avenue Create
Had to bite my tongue not to share for past few weeks..  so excited

Here is my first project for them..

The image is from Stamploration

The challenge theme was Create Your Own.
I chose 5 items from the rows, Image, diecuts, glossy accents, buttons, ribbon

I used promarkers to colour it,

Strawberry - red, crimson, maroon
cherry - red, blender
Wafercase - sandstone, caramel, cinnamon
Icecream, baby pink, rose pink, maroon
Spoon - burgundy, cardinal red, red

I added Glossy accents to the strawberry and cherries.

Paper, ribbon and buttons from my stash.

I die cut the doilley using a Couture creations fantasia collection

All I need now is some nice sunshine to feel like making one of these sundaes for real and sitting outside to eat it.. (as I type this the skies have emptied!)

Kind regards

Male card

I needed a male card and found this cute dog at All Dressed Up

I coloured him with polychromos - a change from Promarkers today ;-)
I raided my stash and found some masculine papers that were from a C&C members purchase.

Fought with 2 ribbons and piece of twine on the bowmaker.. but I eventually won

This car will be going to my hubby's business partner for his birthday later this month.

Kind Regards

Theresa

Karleigh Sue Inspiration - Boys Christening

I was on a role with my colouring - hence the 3rd blog this week already!!
I wanted something different to colour so went with Karleigh Sue Baby Boys Christening

I was originally going to do him on parchment with some lace work..
but after printing him off on cardstock in error I went with it ;-)
Someone (she knows who she is) suggested mounting him on an easel card - something I hadnt made in absolute ages, so she talked me thru it (in fact shared one her excellent photo dems ;-)

I used Pro Markers as follows

Skin - Apricot, Oatmeal, Blush
Top/trousers - Blue Pearl, Pastel blue, powder blue

Pillow - Ivory, blender

I used white pearlesent cardstock.

2 small round white doillies from  my stash
blue button and rubbon to make a bow
You cant see it very well in the photo but ther eis a circle of glitter butterfly vellum under the button/bow

Kinds regards
Theresa
