Pampered Rainy Days inspirational blog

I had fun with these images..

but wanted something other than a card...

I used Karleigh Sue Pampered and Rainy Days on a tissue box cover.

The tissue box template can be found at Tattered Lace downloads
(a word of warning though - the tissue boxes do vary in size quite a bit!)

I used Pro Markers to colour the images

skin - Apricot, oatmeal, blush

Chair - Almond, putty, tan

Robe - mandarin, pumpkin, amber

Towel - sunflower, tulip yellow, buttercup

bowl/book - lavender, lilac purple

Water - powder blue, arctic blue, sky blue

Hair - almond, putty, tan

Raincoat - sunflower, tulip yellow, buttercup

Umbrella/shoes - mandarin, pumpkin, amber

Both images are repeated on opposite sides of the box.

Backing papers and card stock are from my stash,

along with my new favourite embelishments of ribbons/lace

Another beautiful image from Cheri at Karleigh Sue

Besties

I used my Promarkers to colour

skin - Apricot, Oatmeal, Blush

Hair - Walnut, cocoa, Sandstone Satin

- Ivory, Satin, Almond

Striped top - Fuchsia pink, Mulberry, Apple Green, Leaf Green

Heart Top - Crimson, pastel blue, blue pearl

I cut it out using a die from my small collection and

mounted it over a 2 tone ribbon from my stash on pink pearlescent card

I used the same 2 tone ribbon to make the flower and added a pink button to the centre.
Adding some pale blue gems on the die cut and tom and bottom of card

Pampered

This my inspiration post for today.

This image was perfect for my mums birthday card - she should be opening today ;-)

We love a pamper session at the Spa ;-)

I used my Pro Markers to colour her

skin - Apricot, Oatmeal, Blush

chair - Cool Aqua, Duck Egg, Tea Green

Towel - Leaf green, Apple, Meadow

Robe - Cocktail pink, Salmon, Antique

Hair - Tan, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Henna

I'd like to enter her into the following challenges :-

A quick post to show a card with a Rick StDennis image Chacon a son gout.

Had fun colouring this one and went for a stepper card.

I used Pro markers  

skin - putty, Satin, Ivory

Hair - tan, cinnamon, cocoa, henna

Feathers - coral, sunkissed pink, dusky pink

Dress - burgundy, cardinal red, ruby

headress - bright green, apple, meadow

flowers - magenta, carmine, cocktail pink

Backing papers, feathers, ribbon roses are out of my stash.  and I made the hat pin with a head pin and some beads from my jewellery making stash.

I've finished the front cover..

I really enjoyed this project (even if it took me a while to make the first move!)

I also like the fact that the image (Treason from Rick St Dennis) was a pleasure to colour even though it was almost A4 in size..
